I am a 50-something Fashion Model, actress and influencer born and raised in Burlington, Ontario Canada. I now reside on the west coast, Los Angeles California and the east coast, New York, New York. Bi-Coastal Canadian Girl! So how did this Canadian mom turned model end up living on both coasts? Well, my journey began like this…… I spent the early part of my adult life married, and raising 2 beautiful children (who are now adults). Life was busy and I wrapped myself up in being a mom and a wife. Fast forward to 2013 when my marriage ended and I now needed to put a career in place at the age of 42. I went back to school and got a degree in Event Planning and Corporate Marketing and began my life over again. I worked and worked and built a really great career for myself in a short period of time. During this time, I saw so many people in the same stage as me but not believing that they could start over again and rebuild their life. And this is where my journey truly began….. I wanted to show people that its never too late to dream a new dream or set a new goal, no matter what their age. I decided to turn to social media and promote this message through that. I, at the urging of a good friend, decided to do a photo shoot with a well known photographer in Toronto. The goal was to have some professional shots to promote my message and ramp up my social media. Little did I know that this was going to be the start of a whole new career for myself! As my social media presence grew, I began to have photographers reach out to me and want to book me to model! I found out very quickly that I very much enjoyed this new avenue and my passion for modelling kept growing. In 2018 I decided to bet on myself and take a leap of faith and move to New York to pursue this new career. I packed up my things, said goodbye to my family and friends and went on to embark on the journey of a lifetime. And what a ride its been so far! There have been roadblocks, set backs, hard times and struggles. But there has also been total freedom to FINALLY live authentically me! I’m on a journey to show you through my own life that you are never too old to set a new goal or dream a new dream!
